About the Residency

Residents will deliver comprehensive oral health care to patients while having the chance to perform a range of standard and advanced clinical procedures across all dental specialties all under the direct supervision of a team of general dentists. The faculty at CSC consists of seasoned practitioners who have and mentored both residents and pre-doctoral dental.

Residents will also learn to serve low-income patients in a community health center environment and gain experience oral health care to a diverse population encompassing various races, religions, ethnicities, and economic statuses.

The AEGD program spans 12 months, with approximately 85 percent the time dedicated to clinical experience. The remainder will involve literature reviews, clinical case presentations, and didactic activities that include formal lectures—either in-person or via video conferencing—and small-group interactive sessions.
